Diane Hanson, CEO & Founder, began what has become her life’s work at a pregnancy center in the upper peninsula of Michigan. Many of the clients came from the university which was just down the street from the office. She took the position of Executive Director and served there for three more years. In April of 1997, she and her husband, Dave moved to Naples, Florida and where she became the director of another pregnancy center for nine years. “I know that God has called me to pregnancy ministry. This is my passion! ”
In 2007 the Lord called her to reopen a pregnancy center that had been destroyed by hurricane Wilma in the community of Immokalee, Florida. The Immokalee Pregnancy Center opened its doors in August 2008. This is a very unique community with a population that is 70% Hispanic and 20% Haitian. The median income is $10,000. Over 30% of our clients consider Spanish, Creole or French their primary language. “It has been a challenging and yet very rewarding journey developing this ministry in Immokalee. We are thankful for all the Lord has done… So many lives saved and changed!”
Hi my name is Estefania (Stefy) Sepulveda, Client Services Manager. I joined Immokalee Pregnancy Center in 2013 as a Bilingual Client Advocate.
I am so grateful that the Lord sent me here and I cannot wait to see what else He has in store for this ministry. This is just the beginning for Immokalee Pregnancy Center; God has even greater things in store.
Ginny Massa, RN BSN Nurse Manager, is a long time resident of Florida, having met her husband Jim in Ft Myers in 1976. With many years of nursing experience behind her, most of it in the dialysis field, she retired in 2010, but found she could not “let go” of nursing. A series of interventions while looking for a part-time position led her to Immokalee Pregnancy Center in October 2014, where she has found a whole new way of giving. She and Jim live in the outskirts of Naples. Their 2 daughters and son-in-laws and five grandchildren live nearby.
Hello, my name is Jessica Sidney. I started working at Immokalee Pregnancy Center as a Bilingual Client Advocate in April of 2017. It has been such a joy to work with such wonderful staff members on a truly grand mission.
Working here is more than a job but an opportunity to better my community one person at a time. I am honored to be able to speak into the lives of the women and, God willing, to make change for the better. I was raised here, so Immokalee will always have a place in my heart. I'm just glad to be able to give back.
Hello, my name is Christina Forte. I am new to the Immokalee Pregnancy Center this year. My job is to assist Diane Hanson with office chores. After working in a government job for 29 ½ years, I am very excited to be a part of this ministry and the Immokalee community outreach.
I also love the Lord and want to extend that love to people who seek help and guidance. The Immokalee Pregnancy Center is a safe and caring place that helps, just as in Isaiah :
“So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.”
